Gull Bay Internet Update

Thanks once again for your interest - and your patience. I had earlier boasted to Peter Leygh that I could have a system up and running within two weeks of finding a suitable location. While that's certainly true from a network engineering perspective, the reality of living here in Paradise is that there's always additional challenges.

Whiteface Mountain review "GREAT Mountain" (5/5)

While I live in Virginia now (what happens when you marry a 'ginian) I grew up in Vermont. Mostly skied Okemo and Killington as we lived in the southern part of the state. Went to Whiteface a number of times and loved it. Nice mix of easier and difficult. Didn't realize it has the most vertical East of the Mississippi. Learn something new every day.

Gore Mountain review "Great Fun at Gore's Pond Skimming Contest" (4/5)

It's not just about skiing and boarding - Gore has great events throughout the year. The Pond Skimming Contest today was a blast. Sunshine, fine music and the spirit of spring combined to make a memorable event. It's easy to see that the staff and friends really enjoy a special camaraderie with their visitors and guests. What a cool place.
